The Devil Brigade

The Devil Brigade, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, recently completed a rotation as the Nation's Global Response Force (GRF).

Fresh off the GRF "fight tonight" mission, the Devils have a high level of readiness and may soon be asked to deploy in support of one of the ongoing missions around world. The world outside our borders is dangerous and uncertain, and the Devils must be ready to win tomorrow's fight.

Last week, the Devil Brigade completed their Culminating Training Exercise in the Fort Bragg training areas. This exercise validated that each battalion is ready to deploy and fight. Pegasus, the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division got into the fight as well, providing a Multifunctional Aviation Task Force, which included a variety of aviation capabilities.
