Exercise Joint Viking 2017

Paratroopers of Bulldog, Havoc, and Darkhorse Troop's, 1-91 CAV, 173rd IBCT Airborne take a moment for a group photo during Winter Warfare Training, conducted 18 February 2017 in the vicinity of Setermoen, Norway.

The Paratroopers are currently forward deployed to Norway, North of the Arctic Circle, conducting training in preparation for Exercise Joint Viking 17.

Exercise Joint Viking will bring together elements of the United States Army, US Marine Corps, Royal Marines (UK), and Norwegian Army for a multi-day combined arms exercise, simulating high-intensity conflict in a challenging Winter Environment.

The 173rd Airborne stands ready to respond to crisis's across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at no notice, safeguarding the United Stats and her Allies in any environment.
